Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Shiro Pichu (45 min).

Shiro Pichu (45 min) is a traditional Ayurvedic head therapy that places a warm, oil-soaked pad on the forehead to calm the nervous system, relieve tension, and nourish scalp and hair during a focused 45-minute session.

Clients with stress, headaches, sleep difficulties, dry scalp, or mild anxiety often benefit. We screen health history and tailor oils to individual needs to ensure safety and maximize therapeutic effects.

Arrive with clean hair if possible and avoid heavy meals immediately before treatment. Remove jewelry and inform your therapist of medications, allergies, or recent procedures so we can adjust oils and pressure accordingly.

Not recommended for those with open scalp wounds, severe skin infections, recent head injuries, uncontrolled fever, or active seizure disorders. Pregnant clients should consult their physician; we perform a health check before treatment.

For therapeutic benefits consider weekly sessions for several weeks; for maintenance, monthly visits are common. Frequency is customized based on stress levels, scalp condition, and your response to initial treatments.

We use high-quality Ayurvedic oils such as Brahmi, Bhringraj or sesame, warmed and applied via a cotton or linen pad. Products are natural, selected for your needs, and patch-tested upon request for sensitivities.
